The Best of September: Lawrence of Arabia

Lawrence of Arabia is a beautifully shot, beautifully acted movie. As usual, I watched a lot of great movies this month, but the stunning vistas of Lawrence of Arabia put it over the top of many of the other great movies. See it.

The Worst of September: Early Man

I was intrigued by Early Man because of its Wallace and Gromit pedigree. It doesn’t live up to it. The story is too simple. The humor falls flat at many points. I was also seeing if I could use it to help teach about ancient civilizations at work. It is useless for that purpose as well. Skip it.
