The Best of July: Casablanca (1942) and The Theory of Everything (2014)

Casablanca is a classic. Humphrey Bogart’s performance is great and put him on the map. The story is modern even today and it is a must see movie. The Theory of Everything is a performance based movie. Eddie Redmayne turns in a stunning performance as Stephen Hawking which makes the movie. It is must see.

The Worst of July: Demon House (2018)

Demon House is a turd. It is a “documentary” that plays on people’s superstitions about ghosts and the afterlife. It is terribly fake. The star of the show has been found to have faked so-called paranormal activity before. It is great to see the cast of characters and what people can be tricked into believing, but overall it is just awful.
